2. Description
PLAZA-UFERCOT-1520 + PLAZA-HD-17015 is a two-component heat curing epoxy system.
PLAZA-UFERCOT-1520 is a solvent less liquid resin of medium viscosity based on bisphenol A.
PLAZA-HD-17015 is yellow colored low viscosity, modified carbolic anhydride type hardener.

• Trickle impregnation of auto components
4. Application Method
PLAZA-UFERCOT-1520 + PLAZA-HD-17015 is processed according to all impregnating methods conventional in electrical machines and transformer construction, such as dipping or flooding. Owing to the low vapor pressure impregnation under vacuum or vacuum pressure and dip-rolling of preheated components is possible. The system also can be used by trickle impregnation by curing at elevated temperature of 150oC
5. Properties of cured material
PLAZA-UFERCOT-1520 system cures into hard & tough mass after curing at elevated temperature. The cured mass has good adhesion to metals and most plastics. The cured mass has excellent dielectric properties and track resistance. The resin system, in combination with other heat insulation material, is suitable for class F (155ºC) components & machines. Even though it does not require any accelerator addition the system exhibit excellent pot life at ambient temperatures.

Recommended Curing Schedule• 1 hour at 150°C for trickle impregnation• 2 hours at 80oC + 3 hours at 105oC for VPI / Dip impregnationThe curing time is after the component attains specified temperature.
